These terms apply to all orders placed through this website with Schaks Lab, Jacques Merkle, Meierweg 30, 4125 Riehen, Switzerland (“we”). By placing an order you accept them.
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). We are not subject to VAT, so no VAT is added. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Product images are illustrative. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen.
Presenting products on the website is not a binding offer. By completing checkout you submit an order. The contract is concluded once we accept your order, which happens at the latest when we ship it. If an item is no longer available, we will inform you and refund any payment already made.
Payment is processed by Stripe at checkout. We do not see or store your card details. Payment is due when you place the order.
We currently ship within Switzerland only. Shipping costs CHF 2.00 per order. We ship as soon as possible after payment. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
You can return an item within 14 days of receiving it, provided it is unused and in its original condition. This is a voluntary offer on our part. To return an item, first write to jacques.merkle@icloud.com and we will tell you how to send it back. After we have received the item and checked its condition, we refund the purchase price to the payment method you used.
Statutory warranty rights for defects remain unaffected. If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us promptly by email with a description and, if possible, photos.
The SLAB is a carabiner-style accessory with a built-in bottle opener. It is not certified and not intended for climbing, rappelling, securing people or any other life-safety use. The maximum load is 5 kg per side. Use is at your own risk.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and in cases where the law mandatorily provides for liability. Beyond that, our liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law, in particular for indirect damages and consequential losses and for any use of the product contrary to section 8.
Swiss law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you live remain unaffected.
