Orders. When you order, we receive your name, delivery address, email address, the items you bought and the amount paid. We use this to deliver your order, handle returns and meet our accounting duties.
Contact form. If you write to us through the contact form, we store your name, email address and message in order to answer you.
Reviews. If you submit a review, we store the name you enter and your text. Reviews are published on the product only after we have approved them.
Technical data. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address and time of access in server logs to deliver the website and keep it secure.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment details are entered on Stripe’s page and are not visible to us. Stripe processes them under its own privacy policy.
We use Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database). These providers process data on our behalf and may do so outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the USA. Where required, this is covered by contractual safeguards.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your shopping cart is saved in your browser’s local storage so it is still there when you return. It stays on your device and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
We keep order data as long as we are legally required to, which is generally ten years for accounting records. Other data, such as contact messages, is deleted once it is no longer needed.
You can ask us for information about your data, and request correction or deletion where the law allows. Write to jacques.merkle@icloud.com. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
